Come find out how to manage your mountain property or vacation home to improve resistance to wildfire. In an environment shaped by and adapted to fire, your home needs to be surrounded by defensible space. Speakers include Matthew McNicol, Natural Resources Conservation Service, discussing forest stewardship; Stephen Quarles, U.C. Berkeley specialist in wood durability and burnable materials; and Tuolumne County Resource Conservation District members speaking about programs available for local home owners.
